Account Manager – Equipment & Services (North Portugal)

About the role

As an Account Manager for Equipment & Services, you will be the primary liaison for public and private healthcare groups across the North of Portugal. You will shape account strategies, nurture trusted relationships with senior executives and clinicians, and drive business outcomes that align with GE Healthcare’s mission to improve lives.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with C‑suite leaders, clinicians, and key stakeholders at hospitals and headquarters.
• Develop and execute account strategies to grow market share, increase revenue, and strengthen the GE Healthcare brand.
• Lead negotiations, craft value propositions, and coordinate cross‑functional teams to deliver tailored proposals.
• Collaborate with Partners, Solutions, and financial teams to leverage GE’s international capabilities.
• Act as a mentor for less‑experienced colleagues and may lead projects with defined risks and resources.

Required profile

• Experience or education in the healthcare sector.
• Strong commercial and project‑management background.
• Executive presence with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build trust‑based relationships with senior decision‑makers.
• Knowledge of the hospital market in northern (or central) Portugal, preferably with consolidated sales experience.
