Academic Internship – Corporate Governance & Data Protection

About the role

Join Bosch Car Multimedia’s Information Security & Data Protection Governance team as an Academic Intern. You will work on real‑world compliance projects, supporting risk management, legal research and the creation of communication material while gaining hands‑on experience in a global automotive technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support risk‑management quality checks using AI‑assisted pre‑analysis and plausibility verification.
• Research and summarise new legal or internal requirements related to data protection.
• Create awareness content such as blog posts, news articles and information packages.
• Document existing processes, assist with audit preparation and track actions.
• Prepare reports and presentations summarising findings on information security and data protection governance.
• Develop simple office‑helper tools in VBA, PowerAutomate and PowerBI to streamline reporting and process management.

Required profile

• Strong interest in compliance, risk management and data‑protection frameworks.
• Basic understanding of information‑security principles and general IT concepts.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to research, summarise and communicate findings clearly.
• Proactive, open‑minded and comfortable working in an international, multidisciplinary team.
