Thought Leader Relations Manager

About the role

DonateOpen is seeking a full‑time, remote Thought Leader Relations Manager to identify, engage, and nurture relationships with influential creators, community leaders, academics, and partners. You will introduce the platform’s reputation‑based ranking technology and help build a trusted network that drives quality discovery.

Key responsibilities

• Research and compile a pipeline of relevant thought leaders across key domains.
• Conduct outreach, present DonateOpen’s mission, and onboard selected leaders to the platform.
• Design and execute engagement plans that support community‑building and platform adoption.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and data teams to create tailored materials and narratives.
• Track and report the impact of thought‑leader involvement on growth and reputation metrics.
• Represent DonateOpen at virtual events, facilitate partnerships, and gather feedback for product strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience building trust with creators, academics, community leaders, or partners.
• Strong networking, collaboration, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Background in community management, influencer relations, or ecosystem development within digital platforms.
• Analytical mindset to identify relevant leaders and evaluate engagement outcomes.
