Software Engineer – AI (Microservices & LLMs)

About the role

Join Bosch's AI team in Braga to design and deliver scalable software solutions built on modern microservice architectures. You will work across the full development lifecycle, from feature design to production deployment, and explore cutting‑edge AI/ML and Large Language Model technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance microservice‑based applications using clean, efficient code.
• Write unit tests, participate in code reviews and ensure high code quality.
• Deploy services with Kubernetes and Helm, following CI/CD best practices.
• Design, implement and test REST APIs and work with PostgreSQL or MySQL databases.
• Integrate AI/ML, Generative AI and LLM capabilities into software products.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues and optimise for scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and implement new features.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and share knowledge within the team.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering background with experience in full‑stack development.
• Proven ability to work in agile, collaborative environments.
• Interest in AI/ML and emerging LLM technologies.
