Software Developer – Validation Engineer

About the role

As a member of Bosch's Ground Truth Team, you will help validate perception functions for autonomous driving by creating and evaluating automatic labelling solutions for large‑scale sensor data. Your work will directly support the development of ADAS and autonomous driving perception systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑performance, robust ground‑truth toolchains for complex sensor setups (LiDAR, radar, camera).
• Design and implement automatic labelling algorithms and evaluate their performance across different sensor technologies.
• Translate perception requirements into concrete ground‑truth solutions and define relevant KPIs.
• Create post‑processing pipelines and performance‑evaluation scripts.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, communicate limitations and opportunities of the solutions, and provide feedback to perception engineers.

Required profile

• Strong interest in autonomous‑driving perception and validation.
• Ability to work with large‑scale sensor data and complex multi‑sensor configurations.
• Experience in developing toolchains or software pipelines for data processing.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with international, interdisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Sensor data processing (LiDAR, radar, camera).
• Development of ground‑truth and labelling toolchains.
• Performance evaluation and KPI definition.

What we offer

• Opportunity to work on cutting‑edge autonomous‑driving technology.
• Collaborative international environment within a leading automotive supplier.
• Support for professional growth and continuous learning.
