Software Developer – Development, Packaging & Release

About the role

Fujitsu is seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, package and release software modules and customer solutions. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and customer technical groups to ensure high‑quality deployments across multiple locations in Portugal.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement and test software modules and products in line with agreed timelines, budget and quality standards.
• Package software solutions, hot‑fixes and configuration changes while ensuring compliance with internal standards and deployment procedures.
• Perform functional, integration and regression testing in laboratory and pre‑production environments to validate software quality and deployment readiness.
• Prepare release packages, deployment instructions and rollback procedures; coordinate releases and communicate updates during Change Advisory Board meetings.
• Provide integration support, troubleshoot issues, and maintain technical and release documentation.
• Collaborate with customer technical teams to validate and deploy requested software solutions and support the software lifecycle.
