Software Architect

About the role

Air Apps is building the world’s first AI‑powered Personal & Entrepreneurial Resource Planner. As a Software Architect you will define and oversee the overall system architecture of this platform, ensuring it is scalable, secure and high‑performing while aligning with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the end‑to‑end architecture for scalable software solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guide engineering teams on best practices for coding, architecture and scalability.
• Design high‑level system diagrams, data flows and API structures.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud services, frameworks and tools to optimise performance, security and cost.
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance and security across all components.
• Oversee integration of micro‑services, APIs and third‑party services.
• Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to guarantee smooth deployments and operational reliability.
• Establish coding and architectural standards and conduct architecture reviews and performance audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 + years of experience in software development and architecture.
• Strong expertise in system design, cloud computing and micro‑services architecture.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and make strategic technology decisions.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Backend: Node.js, Python, Java.NET.
• Frontend frameworks: React, Angular, Vue.
• Databases: SQL and NoSQL, caching strategies, data pipelines.
• Event‑driven architectures, API design.
• Containerisation: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Security best practices and identity management.
