Senior Software Engineer (Platform)

About the role

You will develop complex cloud applications for the Altium 365 Platform, building new cloud‑native services and scalable infrastructure that empower electronics designers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud‑native applications and scalable infrastructure.
• Leverage AI/ML to enhance advanced search capabilities.
• Perform large‑scale data processing, data modelling, and intent‑based API design.
• Develop stateful and stateless servers using relational databases and ORM frameworks.
• Contribute to product features for the Altium 365 collaborative design platform.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional .NET development experience.
• Deep expertise in areas such as identity & authentication, access or license management, message queues/brokers, distributed caches, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, relational database design, platform framework development, multi‑tenancy, or Rings Protection Model.
• Proven experience building and operating distributed, high‑load systems with performance profiling, optimisation, load and stress testing.
• Ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams and drive architectural decisions.
• Experience defining engineering standards, best practices, and technical governance at a platform level.
