Senior DevOps Engineer – Terraform & AWS ECR

About the role

Devoteam is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its Telecom sector team. You will design, develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions, focusing on Terraform and AWS ECR, while enabling self‑service capabilities for development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Terraform modules for AWS ECR management.
• Lead the implementation of self‑service ECR management and integrate Backstage with GitHub for automated workflows.
• Create and maintain Terraform repositories and CI/CD pipelines following best practices.
• Automate the transfer of Backstage form data into GitHub repositories, including commit and pull‑request creation.
• Refactor legacy Terraform repositories into standardized pipeline templates and resolve infrastructure drift.
• Migrate Terraform state files, transition from workspaces to environment‑based folder structures, and support repository migrations from GitLab to GitHub.
• Onboard pipelines using Terramate and provide guidance on best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Terraform.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, specifically Amazon ECR.
• Experience managing, moving and refactoring Terraform state files and working with legacy IaC repositories.
• Strong knowledge of GitHub and CI/CD workflows.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
