Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, automation, and operation of secure, scalable, and highly‑available AWS environments. The role is fully remote, but candidates must reside in Portugal and be fluent in French.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Provision and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, EKS, RDS) with Terraform following IaC best practices.
• Operate containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes, and drive GitOps deployments via Argo CD.
• Develop zero‑downtime deployment strategies and ensure high availability.
• Set up monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions; participate in incident management.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Support development teams in adopting automation, cloud, and DevOps best practices.
• Create and maintain clear technical and operational documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE or a related field.
• Fluent in French and proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams.
