Senior DevOps Engineer (Hybrid, Lisbon)

About the role

KCS IT is seeking a senior‑level DevOps Engineer to join our hybrid team in Lisbon. You will work on a variety of client projects, ensuring reliable, automated infrastructure and continuous delivery pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Ansible.
• Monitor applications and services with Prometheus and Grafana, creating alerts and dashboards.
• Develop and maintain Bash/Shell and Perl scripts for routine tasks.
• Support Linux environments and manage databases such as Oracle or Sybase.
• Administer middleware components, notably Apache Tomcat.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• At least 6 years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
• Proven expertise with Ansible, monitoring tools, and scripting languages.
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, Git, Linux, Oracle or Sybase, and Tomcat.
• Good command of English.
• Current residence in Portugal.
