Senior Construction Representative – Fort Buchanan

About the role

The Senior Construction Representative will oversee all phases of construction at Fort Buchanan, ensuring compliance with federal plans, specifications, and safety standards. This position reports directly to project management and supports contract administration for large, multimillion‑dollar federal projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare surveillance reports on workmanship, materials, installation methods, and compliance with plans.
• Investigate and document change orders, and assist in contract modification processes.
• Develop detailed inspection requirements and control methods for each construction phase.
• Monitor schedules, shop drawings, and subcontractor performance, flagging potential delays.
• Perform daily site inspections, record progress, safety issues, and manpower in site reports.
• Review contractor plans, technical submittals, certifications, and environmental, safety, and quality programs.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with ability to pass a federal background check and drug screening.
• High School Diploma/GED minimum; a construction‑related degree is preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in construction contract administration and inspection on large federal, DoD, or USACE projects.
• Familiarity with RMS 3.0 and three‑phase inspection processes.
