Senior Backend Developer – .NET Core

About the role

Emotion Mobility is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance web applications and APIs for its SaaS platforms. You will work closely with the Engineering Director and contribute to a fast‑moving, product‑led environment that serves hundreds of enterprise clients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Core (C#).
• Build, integrate, and optimise RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Design and work with relational databases (SQL) to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Apply modern engineering practices such as Dependency Injection, clean‑code principles, and thorough code reviews.
• Contribute to system design decisions and technical architecture discussions.
• Manage source code and workflows with Git in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while providing ongoing application and user support.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with .NET Core (C#) and developing/consuming REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of Dependency Injection and relational databases (SQL).
• Proficiency with Git and version‑control best practices.
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM teams.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
