Senior Associate, Cyber Operations

About the role

KPMG is seeking a Senior Associate to strengthen its Enterprise Security Services team. You will work in a 24x7 cyber operations centre, protecting client assets and responding to security incidents with speed and precision.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and improve 24x7 cybersecurity monitoring, incident management, threat hunting, forensic analysis and remediation.
• Configure, tune and automate security tools, alerts, correlation rules and reporting to achieve a unified "single pane of glass" view.
• Apply threat intelligence and vulnerability detection to assess risk severity, develop mitigation strategies and integrate lessons learned.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, review security change requests and ensure robust protective measures.
• Mentor team members, share knowledge, and collaborate with internal technology groups to align security strategy.
• Produce work products, support small projects, and contribute to staffing decisions while meeting deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of recent experience in cybersecurity operations, including incident response and playbook development.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; alternatively, a high school diploma/GED with at least five years of equivalent experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, GCIH, CEH, SC‑200) are a plus.
• Strong integrity, professionalism and a collaborative mindset.
