Security Engineer

About the role

As a Security Engineer you will join JUMO’s dedicated Security Team, helping to raise the company’s overall security posture. You will work with a modern tech stack hosted on AWS and collaborate with engineering teams to identify, remediate, and automate security controls.

Key responsibilities

• Discover, triage and remediate vulnerabilities from multiple sources.
• Design, configure, deploy and maintain secure configurations across JUMO’s cloud and endpoint estate.
• Conduct threat‑modeling exercises with engineering teams.
• Improve the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to embed security best practices.
• Write automation code and integrate security tooling with CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and enhance security observability and incident response processes.
• Secure JUMO’s use of AI tooling and proactively improve security processes.
• Coach, mentor and share knowledge within the security team.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in information security, preferably in implementation and operations.
• Solid programming experience in Python and familiarity with Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform).
• Experience working with cloud services, SSO, cloud email gateways and productivity suites.
• Strong ability to build relationships, prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Bonus: advanced coding skills for API integration and data transformation.
