Retail Channel Associate (Teller)

About the role

The Retail Channel Associate (Teller) provides superior, efficient service to bank customers in Dorado, PR. You will handle a wide range of transactional activities while promoting the bank’s products, always adhering to strict regulatory and procedural standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, courteous service for deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, payments, transfers, and other transactions.
• Maintain compliance with all banking policies, regulations, and cash‑handling limits.
• Prepare the workstation, manage keys, stamps, and cash, and balance the cash fund at shift end.
• Log and register transactions accurately, handle customer inquiries, and refer complex issues as needed.
• Report suspicious activity and any discrepancies to management promptly.
• Promote bank products, identify cross‑selling opportunities, and refer customers to appropriate specialists.

Required profile

• Associate or technical degree in Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least one year of retail, customer‑service, or cash‑register experience.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Strong mathematical aptitude, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask.
• Analytical, proactive problem‑solver with excellent written and oral communication.
• Availability to work branch hours and occasional overtime.
