Recruitment Specialist – Front‑End Hiring for Cleaning Platform

About the role

Batmaid is transforming the cleaning sector across Europe by providing legal employment, fair wages and social protection to cleaning agents. As a Recruitment Specialist based in Lisbon, you will be the first point of contact for our cleaning heroes, ensuring that every new colleague meets our high standards of quality, reliability and legal compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Screen daily applications to identify candidates that match Batmaid’s requirements.
• Conduct high‑volume initial interviews to assess professionalism, experience and motivation.
• Verify work permits, background checks and other legal documentation.
• Maintain accurate candidate data in internal systems for seamless hand‑off to the next hiring stage.
• Manage the recruitment pipeline to achieve monthly hiring targets.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in recruitment or HR coordination.
• Proactive, can‑do attitude with full ownership of the candidate pipeline.
• Energetic and empathetic, able to handle back‑to‑back interviews.
• Native German speaker with fluent English.
• Experience in a fast‑paced start‑up or cleaning/hospitality environment is a plus.
