Purple Team Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Purple Team Analyst to join our cybersecurity team in Lisbon. The analyst will combine offensive and defensive expertise to hunt threats, analyse malware and enrich our threat intelligence capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct proactive threat‑hunting across internal and external environments.
• Monitor dark‑web and deep‑web sources for emerging threats, data exposure and attack preparations.
• Perform malware reverse‑engineering using static and dynamic analysis techniques.
• Analyse malicious samples in sandboxes, debuggers and isolated environments.
• Collect, correlate and maintain Indicators of Compromise (IOCs).
• Support threat‑intelligence activities to improve detection and response.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity.
• Proven experience in threat hunting and threat intelligence.
• Hands‑on knowledge of malware reverse‑engineering and analysis methodologies.
• Familiarity with IOC collection and correlation.
• Relevant certifications such as CTIA, SANS FOR578, MITRE ATT&CK Defender, ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation, CompTIA Security+ or BTL1.
