Professional Services Project Manager – Core Banking

About the role

Finastra is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex banking transformation initiatives using our core banking suite. You will oversee SaaS, cloud, and on‑premise implementations, working closely with customers and cross‑functional teams to ensure successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑lifecycle implementation of core banking solutions.
• Define project scope, timelines, and success metrics.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer engagements.
• Coordinate internal teams, partners, and vendors.
• Manage data migration, integration, and deployment activities.
• Monitor project performance, report progress, and ensure compliance.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support business development and contribute to proposal creation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT project or program management.
• 5+ years managing core banking implementations.
• Experience with platforms such as Temenos, Oracle, or Finacle.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS, cloud, APIs and digital banking.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Relevant certifications (PMP, Prince2, ITIL) are a plus.
