Pre‑Sales Engineer – French Speaker

About the role

We are looking for a French‑speaking Pre‑Sales Engineer to join Sovos’ sales engineering team in the United Kingdom. In this role you will act as a trusted technical advisor for enterprise customers, helping them navigate complex global tax and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi‑entity discovery sessions across global customer organisations, mapping transaction flows, ERP landscapes and regulatory exposure.
• Design scalable, cross‑border solution architectures that align with business and compliance needs while highlighting commercial value.
• Influence technical and business stakeholders, including senior decision‑makers, and partner with Sales to shape account strategy and advance deals.
• Own technical responses for enterprise RFPs, RFIs and global tenders, delivering tailored demonstrations reflecting regulatory and ERP scenarios.
• Act as a trusted advisor in partner‑led and embedded solution models, ensuring a seamless transition from pre‑sales to implementation.
• Contribute to global pre‑sales best practices, messaging and competitive positioning, maintaining high‑quality demo environments.
• Leverage AI tools to improve discovery workflows, automate response generation and personalise demonstrations.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead structured discovery sessions, design scalable solutions and influence enterprise buying decisions.
• Strong communication skills in French and English.
• Comfortable working with senior technical and business stakeholders.
