About the role
The organization is seeking an Office Billing and Collections Clerk for its San Juan center. The role supports medical billing operations, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely collection while providing excellent customer service to participants.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, verify, and submit medical invoices.
- Process incoming payments and reconcile accounts.
- Maintain confidential patient and financial information.
- Communicate billing inquiries with patients and healthcare providers.
- Utilize basic computer systems to enter and track billing data.
Required profile
- Organized and detail‑oriented.
- Strong customer‑service orientation.
- Interest in medical billing and healthcare administration.
- Certification in medical secretarial work or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in a medical office or hospital setting.
Required skills
- Basic computer systems proficiency.
