Mid-level DevOps Engineer (Hybrid, Lisbon)

About the role

KCS IT is looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer to join our Lisbon team. The position is hybrid, allowing you to work both on‑site and remotely while collaborating with international clients across various sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Deploy, monitor and scale containerised applications on Kubernetes and Docker.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS or GCP with IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM or CloudFormation.
• Set up monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Ensure networking and security best practices are applied across all environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to support micro‑services architectures and GitOps workflows.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
• Strong expertise with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Solid Linux systems administration skills.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Good understanding of networking and security principles.
• Fluent English (mandatory).
