Marketing Communications Manager

About the role

The Marketing Communications Manager will develop and execute the marketing plan for a hospitality property in Lisbon. The role oversees e‑commerce opportunities, builds relationships with tourism bureaus and community leaders, and ensures consistent brand messaging across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Create and implement a leisure marketing plan that drives occupancy through rate offers, packages and programs.
• Maintain, update and manage all property websites and coordinate brand‑loyalty mailings.
• Develop brochure and collateral materials, and support property imaging work such as signage.
• Analyze DMA source market reports, guest lists and tracking data to make sound marketing recommendations.
• Review and report on website and email campaign performance for both property and corporate channels.
• Manage the annual marketing budget, track ROI of promotions, online, direct‑mail and print advertising, and reallocate funds as needed.
• Ensure the property is represented on key internet travel sites and works closely with convention bureaus and tourism chambers.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of sales or marketing experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and campaign metrics.
• Excellent communication skills to build relationships with external partners and internal teams.
