Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that all hotel facilities in Four Seasons Lisbon operate smoothly. You will respond to internal service calls, perform preventive maintenance, and carry out repairs across the property, supporting both guest rooms and public areas.

Key responsibilities

• Attend and resolve maintenance requests from guests and staff in rooms, equipment, and public spaces.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on heating, electrical, air‑conditioning, plumbing and refrigeration systems.
• Perform carpentry, painting, drywall installation, and other general repairs as needed.
• React promptly to emergencies such as fires or power failures, following safety protocols.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including the removal of grease spills and plumbing leaks.
• Learn and use the hotel’s technical computer systems for work order management.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of hands‑on technical experience or a Training Certificate/Advanced Technical Diploma in a related field.
• Fluent Portuguese; English proficiency is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, efficiently and on a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
