Logistics Coordinator

About the role

QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP is seeking a motivated Logistics Coordinator to support its pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and manufacturing operations in Puerto Rico and the United States. You will ensure efficient cargo movement, compliance with import/export regulations, and accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Administer efficient and economical movement of cargo and related documentation within deadlines and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate transportation needs with customers, foreign offices, government agencies, and internal departments.
• Prepare, review, approve, and maintain files for lawful import/export activities.
• Work with the warehouse to trace, clear, and release cargo at port facilities.
• Receive, reconcile, generate, consolidate, and summarize shipping documents and information.
• Verify invoices against physical shipments and customer regulatory requirements.
• Interpret and apply appropriate rates to bills of lading while staying compliant.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary coursework or job‑related training preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
• At least 2 years of general office, transportation, or logistics experience, preferably with ocean/air documents and customs regulations.
• Ability to work in an office environment with prolonged computer use.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.

What we offer

• Hourly wage of $15.00.
• Full‑time schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm, with occasional Saturdays as needed.
