Legal Counsel – EMEA (Hybrid/Remote)

About the role

Solenis is seeking a motivated Legal Counsel to join its EMEA Legal team. Working in a dynamic, international environment, you will provide legal support to business units across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, reporting to the Senior Regional Business Counsel.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, revise and terminate a variety of commercial contracts, including sales, rebate, distributor, agency, toll manufacturing, procurement and non‑disclosure agreements.
• Manage disputes, coordinate litigation proceedings and facilitate settlement of pre‑suit claims.
• Advise on debtor/creditor rights, collection and bankruptcy matters.
• Participate in M&A deal teams, support joint‑venture formation, and lead post‑closing integration activities.
• Provide front‑line counsel on Solenis Global Standards of Business Conduct and compliance issues, such as foreign corrupt practices.

Required profile

• Qualified legal professional with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively.
• Independent, solution‑oriented mindset and experience handling cross‑border legal matters.
• Fluency in English; additional EU language(s) a plus.
• Eligibility to work in the EU without relocation or visa support.

Required skills

• Experience negotiating and managing commercial contracts.
• Knowledge of dispute resolution and litigation processes.
• Familiarity with M&A, joint‑venture structuring, and post‑transaction integration.
• Understanding of corporate compliance and anti‑corruption regulations.
