Junior Finance Analyst

About the role

Glovo is seeking a Junior Finance Analyst to join its Finance Team in Lisbon, Portugal. The role supports financial processes, reporting and analysis across multiple functions, helping the business make data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations, marketing, finance operations and procurement to ensure profitable execution.
• Reconcile management reports with financial statements.
• Implement new standardized procedures, leveraging AI tools where appropriate.
• Conduct ad‑hoc financial analyses to support decision‑making.
• Compare actual results with business plans and forecasts to identify financial status.
• Provide YoY, MoM and budget variance insights to finance stakeholders.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing and reconciliation activities.
• Partner with the Commercial team as the go‑to person for finance insights and operational support.

Required profile

• Degree in Management, Economics, Business, Finance or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, controlling, FP&A or auditing within a multinational environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Portuguese and English.
• Self‑driven, organized, detail‑oriented and able to prioritize effectively.
• Proactive and autonomous working style.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Google Sheets.
• SAP (knowledge is a plus).
