IT Support Specialist

About the role

As an IT Support Specialist at Boston Consulting Group, you will enable colleagues in the Lisbon Capability Center to work efficiently by delivering high‑quality, secure IT support. You will collaborate with regional and global IT teams, contributing to service improvements through automation, AI, and modern workplace technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑line support for Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, cloud services and endpoint technologies.
• Administer Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and Okta for device, identity and access management.
• Manage incidents, requests, assets and CMDB data in ServiceNow.
• Deliver onboarding, end‑user training and technical support for meetings and events, both onsite and remotely.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles and operational runbooks.
• Identify recurring issues, drive problem management and improve processes through automation and AI.
• Mentor junior IT Support Specialists and contingent workers.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of IT support or workplace technology experience in a corporate environment.
• Strong experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Office applications.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, ServiceNow and identity‑management tools.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi‑Fi).
