IT Support Engineer – Remote (Portugal)

About the role

Tenthpin is seeking a proactive, customer‑focused IT Support Engineer to deliver high‑quality 1st and 2nd line support for its global, remote‑first user base. You will work remotely from anywhere in Portugal, handling day‑to‑day tickets, onboarding and off‑boarding colleagues, and contributing to small infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for all IT support requests via Jira Service Management.
• Provide remote assistance for Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc.), Windows 11, and collaboration tools.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues on laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Resolve complex problems related to Microsoft Intune, device enrollment, compliance policies, app deployments, and Windows Autopilot.
• Perform Microsoft 365 administrative tasks such as user setup, permission management, and license assignments.
• Escalate incidents to senior technical staff when needed and collaborate on resolutions.
• Identify recurring issues, propose permanent fixes, and ensure compliance with IT security standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar IT support role.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Experience working in a remote or distributed environment.
