IT Project Manager – High Complexity Projects

About the role

Evertec is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead high‑complexity technology initiatives across its Latin American and Caribbean operations. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure delivery of innovative payment and transaction processing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated high‑complexity projects to meet scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction goals.
• Create and adjust project work plans, assign duties, and define authority levels for project staff.
• Identify required resources, manage staffing for each project phase, and request recruitment when needed.
• Monitor and control project execution, review status reports, and modify schedules or plans as required.
• Track and report team hours and expenses weekly or monthly, and follow up with clients as necessary.
• Prepare comprehensive project reports for management and clients, and ensure all project documentation is current and properly stored.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in IT Project Management, including process development and execution.
• PMP certification (required).
• Proven ability to manage large budgets and long‑term projects.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize tasks in high‑pressure environments.
• Excellent communication in both Spanish and English, with strong presentation abilities.
