IT Internal Auditor

About the role

Join Euronext’s Internal Audit team in Porto as an IT Internal Auditor. You will help ensure the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes across the organisation’s IT landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the IT portion of the internal audit plan, reviewing systems and business processes for compliance with policies, laws and standards.
• Develop and execute risk‑based IT audit programmes and testing procedures.
• Identify discrepancies, provide recommendations and prepare formal audit reports for management and the Audit Committee.
• Follow up on audit recommendations and support management in implementing improvements.
• Assist with the annual IT risk assessment and ensure audit activities adhere to defined methodologies.
• Contribute to internal audit reporting, communication and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, IT or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT or information security, preferably with external or internal audit exposure.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, databases, operating systems and application controls.
• Knowledge of IT governance, risk and internal control assessment processes.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
