Biology & Python Expert – Freelance AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a biology specialist with strong Python skills to help design and evaluate AI training tasks. This is a project‑based freelance position, allowing you to work remotely on computational biology challenges for leading tech companies.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational biology problems that mimic real research workflows.
• Create Python‑based tasks using libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and BioPython.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
• Develop problems that require non‑trivial reasoning in bioinformatics, systems biology, and molecular modeling.
• Base tasks on real research challenges or practical applications from biology practice.
• Verify solutions with Python code and provide clear documentation and correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Biology or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in research, applied work, or teaching.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1+).
• Experience with biological data analysis and algorithms.
• Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and computational methods.
