International Business Developer – Payments & Fintech

About the role

NewNote is seeking a results‑driven International Business Developer to grow its payment orchestration platform across European markets. You will act as the primary point of contact for acquirers, processors, PSPs, ISOs, PayFacs, fintechs and digital platforms, helping them leverage NewNote’s technology to optimise transactional flows.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and close new business opportunities throughout Europe.
• Promote NewNote’s payment orchestration solutions to a wide range of ecosystem players.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships across the payments value chain.
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing.
• Represent NewNote at international meetings, conferences and industry events.
• Collaborate with product and technical teams to align solutions with market needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international business development or complex B2B sales.
• Bachelor’s degree (EQF Level 6) in a relevant field.
• Strong ability to navigate multi‑stakeholder ecosystems.
• Background in technology, fintech or financial services; payments experience in Europe is a plus.
• Fluent in English; Portuguese or other European languages are advantageous.
• Results‑oriented, autonomous and entrepreneurial mindset.
