Inside Sales Professional – Pre-need Cemetery Services

About the role

We are seeking an Inside Sales Professional to support families with at‑need and pre‑need cemetery arrangements. The role involves providing personalized service, generating revenue, and acting as the primary contact for families.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new families, dedicating 1‑2 hours daily to lead generation.
• Obtain referrals from served families and build community relationships.
• Present and explain cemetery services to families and referral sources.
• Maintain activity tracking to ensure productivity.
• Respond to client inquiries promptly, empathetically, and professionally.
• Assess each family’s unique needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Follow up to ensure satisfaction and manage after‑care.
• Collaborate with funeral directors, location managers, and cemetery staff to deliver seamless service.
• Review previous interactions to support current sales opportunities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1‑2 years of college or comparable experience.
• 1‑2 years of customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Valid state/province driver’s license with acceptable record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an insurance license where required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and up to 12‑hour days.
• Strong empathy, respect, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers and standard software applications.
• Ability to complete internal presentation certification within 30 days.
• Frequent driving capability.
