Incident Response Cybersecurity Operations Analyst

About the role

Amgen’s Capability Center in Portugal is looking for an Incident Response Cybersecurity Operations Analyst to join its global security team. The analyst will work closely with the Senior Manager, Information Systems, and will be responsible for protecting Amgen’s worldwide enterprise from cyber‑threats.

Key responsibilities

• Execute all phases of the incident response lifecycle, including identification, containment, eradication, recovery and lessons‑learned.
• Develop, maintain and update standard operating procedures, field manuals and operating instructions for incident handling.
• Coordinate with business and operational partners to detect, respond to and remediate cyber‑related attacks.
• Organize and deliver training and awareness programs for Amgen employees and contractors.
• Contribute to security services and projects that support the organization’s mission and priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in incident response and cybersecurity operations.
• Ability to work in a global, cross‑functional team environment.
• Strong communication skills to engage with business partners and convey technical findings.
