HR Operations Specialist

About the role

The HR Operations Specialist will be the first point of contact for employees and managers, ensuring a positive experience with the HR function. You will apply strong knowledge of labour law and corporate policies while supporting day‑to‑day HR operations in a fast‑moving, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of OLX HR policies and partner with employees and managers to resolve first‑line queries.
• Respond to inquiries about benefits, absences, and other HR procedures, providing accurate resources.
• Process employee life‑cycle transactions in HR systems, guaranteeing data integrity and confidentiality.
• Administer benefits schemes, answer related questions and handle required documentation.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding activities to ensure smooth transitions.
• Keep policy documentation organized for easy reference.
• Prepare basic reports on payroll, absences and leaves as needed.
• Maintain high‑quality records and databases, ensuring accuracy at all times.
• Participate in HR system upgrades, pilots and testing.
• Educate and assist employees and managers in using HR self‑service tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of HR operations experience in a fast‑paced, international setting.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (B2‑C1) with strong written and verbal communication.
• Customer‑service mindset, able to ask probing questions and deliver timely, accurate solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with working‑time calculation and related regulations.
