French-Speaking Application Support (Mid-Level)

About the role

KCS IT is seeking a French‑speaking Application Support professional to join its hybrid team in Lisbon. The role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting mission‑critical applications for multiple clients, ensuring high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line and second‑line support for applications running on Linux and Windows environments.
• Monitor system health using tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Zabbix or Splunk and respond to incidents promptly.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating when necessary.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams in Agile/DevOps settings.
• Document incidents and resolutions in ITSM tools.
• Support production environments and participate in on‑call rotations.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in application support or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Fluency in French and good communication skills in English.
• Proactive attitude, analytical mindset and ability to work in a team.

Required skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Basic networking, API and middleware understanding.
• Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell or Python.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools and Agile/DevOps processes.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Grafana, Zabbix, Splunk).
• Exposure to container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
