French Service Desk Operator (IT Support)

About the role

As a French Service Desk Operator you will be the first point of contact for users needing technical assistance. You will handle incidents and requests across Windows environments, desktop software, hardware, telephony, video conferencing and mobile devices, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Log, categorize, prioritize, diagnose, resolve, escalate and close incidents while maintaining ownership.
• Provide technical expertise for Windows 7/10, common desktop applications, hardware, automated software distribution, telephony, video conferencing and mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, Surface Pro).
• Maintain accurate records in ticketing and CMDB tools, and ensure timely updates and clear communication with customers.
• Participate in after‑hours and on‑call support as needed.
• Perform onsite IMACD tasks (Install, Move, Add, Change, Decommission) at user locations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Service Desk Operator or IT Support Specialist.
• Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written.
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Strong customer focus, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

• Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Mobile device support (iPhone, iPad, Microsoft Surface Pro).
• Ticketing systems and CMDB tools.
• VPN configuration and troubleshooting.
• General PC/Laptop/Tablet troubleshooting.
