Facilities and Infrastructure Project Manager

About the role

The Facility and Infrastructure Project Manager leads and manages facility projects at Coloplast Manufacturing Portugal (CMPT) in Felgueiras. The role ensures projects are delivered on scope, schedule and budget while collaborating with site management and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage facility projects of varying size and complexity, coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
• Define project scope, contribute to financial forecasting, and oversee execution.
• Select and negotiate with external suppliers, ensuring delivery and compliance.
• Apply project‑management tools, lead global and local project teams, and monitor progress.
• Guarantee high safety standards, quality compliance (including ISO certifications), and proper documentation.
• Report project status, risks and challenges to management and steering groups.

Required profile

• Higher education (B.Sc. or higher) in engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management within facilities, construction or related areas.
• Experience with quality management systems and certifications (ISO).
• Preferably background in a regulated industry.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Hands‑on, flexible and able to thrive in a demanding environment.
