Epidemiologist – Real‑World Evidence Specialist

About the role

The Epidemiologist will collaborate with global clients and cross‑functional teams to provide epidemiology expertise for real‑world evidence (RWE) studies across the full product lifecycle, from early clinical development through post‑approval phases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and execution of epidemiology and pharmacoepidemiology methodologies for RWE studies, including drug safety, comparative effectiveness, and observational research.
• Provide scientific and methodological input to research initiatives and strategic projects in partnership with senior team members.
• Serve as project lead for smaller studies and support senior leaders on larger, client‑facing projects.
• Develop and author study protocols, statistical analysis plans, clinical study reports, and related documentation.
• Manage analysis and reporting deliverables, maintain timelines, and flag risks for escalation.
• Contribute to eCRF design, feasibility assessments, regulatory responses, and presentation materials.
• Engage directly with clients to discuss study design, methodology, results, and progress.
• Identify and address project, budgetary, and operational challenges to ensure successful delivery.

Required profile

• Academic background in epidemiology, public health, biostatistics, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience designing and executing RWE studies across various therapeutic areas.
• Ability to lead small projects independently and collaborate effectively with senior project leaders.
• Strong scientific communication skills for interaction with clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
