Director, Product Management, Payment Performance Intelligence

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the next wave of growth for MEDI, its real‑time payment performance intelligence platform. In this senior role you will shape strategy, discover market opportunities, and turn AI‑driven insights into scalable products that improve revenue, customer experience, and operational efficiency for the world’s largest financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead customer and market discovery to identify, validate, and prioritize new product opportunities.
• Conduct opportunity sizing, develop business cases, and drive products from concept through global launch and commercialization.
• Partner directly with customers to uncover needs and influence Mastercard’s product roadmap.
• Build new capabilities such as AI‑powered recommendations, API distribution, and cross‑product integrations.
• Manage and develop a team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of innovation and measurable impact.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and go‑to‑market teams to ensure successful delivery.

Required profile

• Proven senior product management experience, preferably in payments or financial services.
• Strong track record of leading product discovery, business case development, and global commercialization.
• Experience working with AI/ML technologies and API‑based product ecosystems.
• Demonstrated people‑leadership skills, with the ability to build and mentor high‑performing teams.
