Digital Architect – Industrial Digitalization

About the role

As a Digital Architect you will shape the software landscape for industrial digitalisation, designing robust, scalable solutions that drive our customers' digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement software architecture patterns, focusing on industrial digitalisation.
• Provide architectural consulting for global IT projects, covering solution and business architecture.
• Support and safeguard development phases of in‑house product developments.
• Define, document, and communicate architectural decisions to harmonise the system landscape.
• Create architectural blueprints and conduct risk analyses.
• Collaborate with Business Consultants and Product Owners to ensure cost‑efficient, sustainable designs.
• Analyse technical requirements and translate them into effective architectural solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of the organisation's technology and architecture landscape.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a comparable field.
• Professional experience in software engineering and software architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud architecture, big data environments, and DevOps/CI‑CD practices.
• Experience with architecture patterns such as microservices, event‑driven, and serverless.
• Strong communication and consulting skills.
