DevOps Platform Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Platform Engineer to design, implement and continuously improve platform engineering solutions that optimise software delivery and infrastructure management. The role will own the internal developer platform strategy and work across development, operations, security and architecture teams to ensure enterprise‑wide standards and best practices are applied.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve platform engineering solutions that optimise software delivery and infrastructure management.
• Define, govern, and promote enterprise‑wide platform standards, CI/CD frameworks, engineering best practices, and reusable platform capabilities.
• Own and evolve the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) strategy, driving self‑service capabilities and secure software delivery across development teams.
• Develop innovative platform solutions that improve standardisation, productivity, efficiency, and time‑to‑market.
• Create and maintain platform documentation, standards, reference architectures, and operational procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and platform‑related issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Collaborate closely with development, operations, security, and architecture teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and objectives.
• Participate in architecture discussions and platform governance activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 8‑10 years of experience in platform engineering, cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps or SRE.
• Strong experience with AWS and GitLab in large‑scale enterprise environments.
• Proven experience defining and governing enterprise‑wide platform standards and reference architectures.
• Fluent English.
