DevOps Engineer – Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – Nearshore (Lisbon)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented DevOps Engineer specialized in Google Cloud Platform to join our nearshore team in Lisbon. You will design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure that supports mission‑critical applications while collaborating closely with development and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage and networking.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to ensure reproducible environments.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines with Cloud Build and related automation tools.
• Implement containerisation strategies using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, maintaining logging and alerting systems.
• Participate in on‑call rotation to provide incident response and support.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure or systems administration.
• Strong expertise with Google Cloud Platform services and architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix system administration and command‑line tools.
