Developer Advocate

About the role

We are looking for a Developer Advocate based in Portugal to connect with developers through technical expertise, community engagement, and practical education. The role blends hands‑on knowledge of web technologies and APIs with public speaking, content creation, and relationship building.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the organization at conferences, meetups, webinars, podcasts, panels and other industry events.
• Identify and evaluate speaking, sponsorship, partnership and community engagement opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver technical talks, workshops, live demos and webinars for developer audiences.
• Build and maintain relationships with developers, community leaders, event organizers and technology partners.
• Create tutorials, demos, videos, code samples and technical articles to simplify complex data and developer workflows.
• Explore emerging technologies such as LLM‑powered applications and AI agents, demonstrating how reliable web data can support them.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and marketing teams to turn developer feedback into better tools and documentation.
• Track the impact of events, content and community initiatives and use insights to improve future programs.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with developers or in a technical advocacy role.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with technical audiences.
• Passion for emerging developer workflows and AI‑first solutions.
