Demand Fulfillment Planner

About the role

The Demand Fulfillment Planner (DFP) is a central member of the Supply Chain Operations team, responsible for turning demand signals into actionable supply and fulfillment plans. The role bridges Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to ensure the right products reach B2B customers on time while balancing service levels, inventory and cost.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts (0‑36 months) using market trends, historical sales data and statistical models.
• Lead monthly demand review meetings with commercial stakeholders to achieve consensus forecasts.
• Translate demand plans into feasible supply and fulfillment plans, monitor performance and manage exceptions such as shortages or excess inventory.
• Coordinate allocation, prioritisation and escalation of supply issues to guarantee on‑time, in‑full deliveries.
• Manage inventory levels across the network, enforce safety‑stock policies and minimise inventory of questionable value.
• Prepare and lead Demand Review / Market Review meetings, presenting demand changes, risks, financial gaps and inventory health.
• Support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes with data‑driven decision‑making.
• Act as the primary planning contact for internal and external customers, communicating supply risks and opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and forecast trends.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills to align cross‑functional teams.
• Experience in demand planning, supply chain coordination or related functions.
• Detail‑oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement of forecast accuracy and inventory health.
