Cybersecurity Specialist (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Palmela, Portugal. In this permanent role you will protect our digital infrastructure and sensitive data, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity strategies aligned with ISO 27001, NIST and other best practices.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
• Monitor security incidents, respond promptly, and perform post‑incident investigations.
• Manage and configure security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems and SIEM platforms.
• Develop, enforce and maintain security policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Perform security audits and compliance assessments to meet regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to embed security best practices into system design and deployment.
• Provide security awareness training and documentation of incidents, vulnerabilities and remediation actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cybersecurity roles.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Strong analytical skills for monitoring and investigating security incidents.
