Cybersecurity Expert (Mid‑Level) – Lisbon

About the role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Expert to join our team in Lisbon. The role focuses on strengthening our security posture through governance, compliance, risk management and data loss prevention initiatives. You will work closely with project teams to embed security best practices across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Monitor vulnerabilities, data breaches, and suspicious activities across endpoints, email and access controls.
• Investigate incidents and lead incident‑response actions.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery, remediation, and business continuity plans.
• Promote good security practices within project teams.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in governance, compliance, risk or DLP projects.
• Strong understanding of ISO 27000, ISO 31000 and ISO 22000 standards.
• Familiarity with NIST, COBIT or NIS2 frameworks.
• Fluent English communication skills.
