Cyber Security Analyst – Incident Response

About the role

The client is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst specialized in incident response to strengthen its ability to detect, analyse, and remediate cyber threats. The position is based on‑site in Lisbon and will support ongoing security operations and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, analyse, evaluate and correlate cyber‑threat information from multiple sources.
• Mitigate incident impact, restore systems to normal operation and handle digital evidence.
• Manage and escalate security alerts, triggering incident‑response procedures as required.
• Perform forensic and malware analysis as part of investigations.
• Prepare incident reports, lessons‑learned documentation and contribute to playbook improvements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the incident‑handling process.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of incident‑response methodologies and frameworks.
• Experience handling security incidents in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with forensic tools and malware‑analysis techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English (C1 level).
• Ability to work in an international, multicultural environment and on multiple projects.
• High degree of discretion, integrity and teamwork.
