Customer Service Representative

About the role

Transtar Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the front‑line point of contact for our clients. You will support customers by providing product information, processing orders, and resolving issues while collaborating with sales, logistics, and inventory teams to ensure a superior experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and resolve customer complaints with empathy and professionalism.
• Process sales orders, credits, returns, and invoices using the company’s ordering software.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, transactions, and feedback.
• Coordinate with colleagues across sales, logistics, and leadership to address order fulfillment and delivery updates.
• Provide training and guidance to customers on the use of ordering software.
• Assist branch or sales representatives with quotes and supply options for non‑stock items.

Required profile

• Positive, empathetic attitude toward customers at all times.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy in record‑keeping.
• Willingness to identify strategic solutions for key customers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with order entry software.
• Cash‑handling and invoice coordination experience.
